While I don’t have formal professional experience in nursing or geriatric care yet, I have gained valuable insights through my volunteer work at a local nursing home. During my time there, I assisted staff with daily activities and interacted with residents, which helped me understand their needs and the importance of compassionate care. This experience has fueled my desire to pursue a career in geriatric nursing, and I’m eager to learn more and gain hands-on experience in the field.
