l am a development master with over a decade of experience in the field of social welfare, as a Team lead on different projects across 20 (twenty) local Government of Ogun State Nigeria. One of my key achievements in project management and implementation is training and building capacities of government and local community stakeholders, umbrella organizations, Civil Society Organizations, and families to strengthen systems for responses to development and public health issues at different levels. I have track records of experience in coordinating activities of many Civil Society Organizations on the implementation of International Organizations and funded projects like USAID, PEPFAR, and the World Bank.
In my most recent position, I was the Institution Capacity Building Anchor on the Nigeria for Women Project in Ogun state (World Bank Supported Project). In this capacity, some of my greatest achievements were, ensuring meeting targets of 3,972 Women Affinity Groups (WAGs) involving over 67,000 women; as a Professional Trainer, building capacity of over 300 Ward Facilitators on WAG Savings methodologies; Financial Education; Business Skills; effective organization and facilitation of training; development of work plans, budgets, training modules; agendas to mention but few. Through my Public Private Partnership (PPP) ability, I was able to link over 10,000 women to Health Insurance in partnership with Ogun State Health Insurance Agency (OGSHIA)
I was a Program Desk officer on USAID funded & President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFARP) project with Coordinating Comprehensive Care for Children"s, (4C) providing strategic leadership on the Household Economic Strengthening (HES) portfolio across 20 (Twenty) Local Government of the state including
acting in the capacity of Program Officer at different times. I was a team member who developed the HES module. Better parenting and Psychosocial Support was a key strategy to strengthen household Caregivers with United State Agency for International Development (USAID).
As the OVC Desk Officer with Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, I led the OVC component of the Global fund project, working with and through CSO partners across all 20 LGAs in Ogun State to achieve enrollment targets ensuring donor compliance. Household Economic Strengthening which protection, food and nutrition, Education and Vocational training was a key approach and a focus to ensure households infected and affected with HIV are economically viable to support
Themselves.
I am skillful at people management, a very good team player with the ability to coordinate teams across fields and locations. I have skills in advocacy through public and private partnerships and also skills in systems strengthening and Capacity building of CSOs and MDAs for sustainability of projects. With my vast experience in Project Management and coordination in different roles and capacities, I am well able to deliver
on any project to achieve desired results..
