Since 2017, I have been working in the health sector, where have assessed and treated old patients with chronic illnesses especially Non- communicable Diseases.
As a mental Health Focal person of the facility since 2021, I have extended mental health services to the geriatrics both in the hospital and the community through medical outreaches.
From 2017 to 2020, I was doubling as a nurse and medical clinical officer in the following medical Center; Fountain of Hope Medical Centre, Najjera Medical Center.

I am writing seeking an opportunity under voluntary service. I am 30 yrs old male Ugandan citizen who graduated with a diploma in clinical medicine and community health in 2017 where I learnt about nursing skills, medicine, anatomy and physiology, mental health care, among the rest. Currently, I am serving as a medical clinical officer at Uganda Martyrs Hospital Lubaga. The job involves assessing, and management of patients including old people. I am also holding other positions such as facility's mental health focal person, viral load focal person, Work improvement chairperson for my department among the rest. I have volunteered in Raise Up Hope Uganda (RUHU) as the head of medical department and also in Rotary club as an health educator.
It is based on the above background that I would like to have an opportunity to serve voluntarily in other countries and also acquire more experience in the healthcare system which may help me improve the lives of people for a better living.
