Dear Sir or Madam,

I’m writing to apply for a voluntary position in Germany, ideally in a healthcare or nursing-related role. I don’t have formal nursing experience yet, and I don’t speak German at the moment, but I’m genuinely eager to help where I’m needed and gain hands-on experience in an international setting.

One of the main reasons I want to volunteer in Germany is to grow through real-life experience — both personally and culturally. I believe that being part of a team that supports others, especially in care settings, is one of the most meaningful things someone can do. I may not come from a healthcare background, but I bring patience, empathy, and a willingness to work hard and learn.

I’m very open to doing basic tasks that support daily routines or assist staff — anything that makes life easier for the team and the people being cared for. I know there’s a lot to learn, and I’m ready to take that seriously. I’m also planning to start learning German, because I think it’s important to connect with people in their own language when possible.

Even without prior experience, I believe volunteering in Germany could be a way for me to give something while also growing in ways that go beyond a classroom. I hope I’ll have the chance to be part of something meaningful and contribute positively, however I can.
